Arkansas EMCC Contractor JHA Workshop

October 26, 2007

Today C. Summers & John Ashley attended a quarterly JHA meeting at Entergy H.Q. in Little Rock. The meeting covered 100% fall protection, E.P.Z. grounding, emergency response orientation, recent safety alert bulletins, and torque specifications on connections. Lasting only four hours the meeting was brief but informative. The group agreed to using torque wrenches for tightening bolts to spec. upon Entergy’s request. There will be a torque specification plan with more detail in the near future. A round table discussion on job site hazzards and mitigations concluded the day. Everyone was reminded to drive safely on the way home.
